...6 x the hill at Weston Bend. My times were: 4:33 (faster than I intended), 4:45, 4:51, 4:53, 4:56 and 4:55. I felt much better than last week (similar temps).
The latest Sports Illustrated showed up in my mail box. I flipped through and read bits of an article about an NFL player who died last year from heat stroke. It was 100+ here in KC today. I decided an easy bike ride made more sense than a run. I'll try to get up early on the weekend. Mostly I'm just biding my time, waiting for some better weather. I'll do some easy stuff until the heat breaks.
I didn't train today, but I did spend ten minutes on the NT (enough to break a sweat) and then did some stretching. I planned a day off -- no excercise at all. But, work was stressful and a bit of something physical was a good stress reliever.

2 x 10 minutes at an honest effort. Each honest effort included a decent climb (not enough that Mook would even consider it a climb, but for the KC area a decent hill). My legs felt tired by the end.
