cycling 1:05:00 [1]

I went for 2+ loops on the Bunny. It was a perfect day for cycling -- almost no wind, clear sky and temp in the mid-60s.

orienteering 25:00 [2]

I hung out some markers for Mary at Wyandotte. The park was crowded with people today. The nice weather brought out crowds. As I was running on the road, I met an old El Camino lowrider! ST=348.

Note

A co-worker is taking a new job. So, instead of training, a bunch of us went to a brew pub afterwork. Dinner was nachos and wings. I felt like Snorkel!

orienteering 30:00 [2]

Line O' at SMP. Mary set the course. It was a nice, easy practice. ST=343.

running 30:00 [2]

Jogged around with Snorkel. We went out to pick up the controls, but it turned out Fritz was picking them up as he went.

running 20:00 [2]

I jogged around a bit in the mist. I took it quite easy. I wonder how my speed compared to the post-bike-crash Mook.

running 1:05:00 [2]

I went for a run on the west side of the bunny loop. I saw the "walking lady." I hadn't seen her since before I got hurt. I threw in ten minutes at an honest effort. It felt decent. I made it as far as the first telephone pole past the fence corner.

orienteering 57:00 [5]

Day two red at Chicago. I had another decent day. My legs didn't feel strong. But the terrain was good for weak/tired legs (i.e. mostly flat and mostly open forest). By the end my hands were getting cold. I wonder if the temperature was falling? ST=339.
