Jogged around to set up controls for Mean Gene and Snorkel (at SMP). It is fun weather for O' -- mid 30s and a mix or light rain/light snow.

Ran the course and picked up the controls. This was the night O' course we ran a couple of weeks ago. I was moving much better today than at the night O'. My knee felt pretty much as it should (which isn't normal, but is a whole lot better than yesterday). ST=12.

I jogged over to the PHHS track. At the track I did something a bit like intervals -- I'd run 300 meters, then walk 100, and so on. I timed a couple of the "fast" bits and was running a few seconds faster than an 8 minute mile. That's not fast. But, it's faster than I've run in a long time.

I had a little bit of stiffness and swelling in my knee after yesterday's running. So, tonight I just jogged a bit.

Rode the trainer while watching the 2nd half of KU - Valpo.

Snorkel and I went up to Weston Bend. Mary designed two short courses. I hung three markers on one of the courses. ST=3.

I ran the course that Snorkel set out (Mary designed it). I didn't go fast, but I was working pretty hard. I had a lot of trouble on the steep downhills and the gullies. ST=6.

Riding the trainer in the basement while watching KU v. Tulsa on video. My knee was a bit stiff this morning, so I didn't do any jogging today.

Mary and I ran at the new park O' map I'm working on. I set out some controls for her and hten picked them up after she ran the course (2.1 k with five controls). I even threw in 5 minutes at an honest effort.
