PT at the hospital. After the excercises, Linda spent some time trying to straighten my knee (I sit with my legs flat and she applies pressure, pushing the knee down). It doesn't feel very good, but it seems to help. I also spent some post-PT time studying the model knee and trying to understand what happened to my tibia. It looks like the femur normally rests on a fairly large portion of the top of the tibia. But, if the knee bends the wrong way, the entire force of the femur is on a very small part of the top of the tibia. So, the stress must be quite a bit greater. That would explain the tibia injury.

Riding the bike in the basement. Basketball season has begun, so I watched KU v. EA Sports. Time passes much faster when you can watch the Jayhawks while biking. I also put in five minutes on the NT. I'll see how the swelling is tomorrow.
