other 30:00 [1]

PT excercises at the Comfort Inn in Livermore (room 113!).

Note

I walked the yellow course at the BAOC A-meet. I guess it was ok. I managed to keep concentrated on the orienteering. I wore my heavy knee brace -- it makes me feel a bit more secure when the footing is a bit rough.

Some PT excercises at Susan's place. I also spent a bit of time walking around at Mountain View and at Point Bonita.

Some PT excercises at KJ and bj's place. Feeling very tired after missing a connection in Denver and not arriving in Mountain View until 3:30 a.m. (HDT).

PT at the hospital. Linda also measured my knee movement -- still can't straighten it or bend it as far as usual, but it was better this week than last.

Some easy PT at home. I'll go a bit harder tomorrow at the hospital. The swelling in the left leg (especially below the knee and above the ankle) seems to have gotten worse again.

On the bike in the basement.

PT at the hospital. I worked fairly hard. Well, as hard as I can work the weak left leg muscles. I finished up with a few minutes on the "Concept2" rowing machine. The best news is that my knee hurt in the morning, but didn't really hurt after about noon.

Rode the bike in the basement when I got home from the hospital.

When I woke up this morning, I had a bit of pain in my knee. It wasn't bad. But, I hadn't had that particular pain for a good week or so. I did my usual PT excercises at home without any trouble and felt fine. I won't worry about the pain unless it isn't a bit better (or even gone!) tomorrow.

I was on the trainer in the basement. I did 30 minutes, then took a break for a few minutes, then did another 30. I managed to time it just right -- I finished my hour just as Dale Earnhardt, Jr. finished the race at Talladega.
