Some easy cycling on the bunny loop. I saw 4 bunnies and a snapping turtle. I did not see the man in the gorilla suit. But, that does not mean he was not there.
My legs and achilles felt fine. But, I thought a day off would be best. It was also dry enough to mow the lawn (finally). I pushed the mower around while Snorkel and Mary sat on the deck drinking beer and eating chips and salsa.
More "Beaver OL" and map walks. This time I went with Ashley, Robbie, Tina and Beau and set a really hard line. We kept the pace at a walk but the map reading intensity high.

Another 4-point course. My achilles felt fine and I felt confident it wouldn't get hurt while I ran. That felt good. ST=32.
The "common start race" (really three races with rest between each race). The heat and humidity slowed me a lot on the third loop. I ran moderately hard on the 1st and 3rd loops and pushed the 2nd. I had one big boom, but otherwise ran well. ST=28.
I ran (at a moderate pace and taking it careful not to stress the achilles) the "four point course." ST=17.
Note
Spent a good bit of time doing map walks and "beaver O'" -- all of this training was at a walk or very slow jog. The achilles seems ok, but I'm still taking it quite careful.
Very easy jogging to hang markers for the "4-point courses" for the training camp. I walked the uphills and jogged everything else. I'm taking it very easy to make sure not to damage my achilles. ST=13.
Note
I spent a lot of time in the woods timing for the "tennis O' tournament." The heat was draining.
