OK sprinty course at the Overlook. Fun and a good run. Not fast enough to keep up with Dean, Eric and Tom.
Gene set the course and focused on fun and pleasant. It was fun and pleasant.
I took a bad route on the long leg largely because I thought it would be more fun to run a new route rather than turnaround and run the way I'd come. That probably cost me maybe 10-20 seconds.
Since we're in a global pandemic, we did things a bit different than usual. We required preregistration. We required people to wear masks except when they were actually on the course. Compliance was good. We asked people to social distance. That seemed to work well. We didn't print out splits or post results, since both of those things tend to lead people to congregating close together. We didn't provide any snacks or drinks.
After the run, a few of us sat far apart at the shelter and ate lunches we'd all brought. I had a leftover black bean burger.
The burger was leftover from last night. In 2019, we had our anniversary dinner at Bon Bon. It was quite good. This year I made black bean burgers. That was quite good, but maybe not as good as Bon Bon.
