cycling 15:00 [1]

Biking to/from the paved football field.

On the way there I noticed someone running on West Campus over the top of a knoll and thought, "they're moving well and that's an unusual spot to be running." The I realized it was Sandy and she had a map in her hand. I caught up to her and said hello. She was running the 100 control control picking course that I designed a year or more ago.

running 30:00 intensity: (20:00 @2) + (10:00 @4)

Includes 4 x Half Ulrik's Hill.

I carried the tiny orienteering map and read it as I ran the hill. I'd drawn 4 very simple courses along the hill. Points were all along the gravel road - things like a road-power line intersection. Not really much navigation (just follow the road), but something to read on the way. Not quite an O' session, but definitely some useful training.

This was the best I've felt since just before I was sick. That's good.

Also, when I got home and opened AP to log my training, I was pleased to see that Cristina had 5:49 in the last 7 days and I had 1 minute more! Good thing I did a bit extra bike communting yesterday.
