Centrum team sprint!
with Georg

format = 2x runners 4x legs. I ran 2nd and 4th

After yesterday I thought I would turn up and run 2nd leg without telling Georg I had been ill. This was always supposed to be training for SM mixed sprint relay and thought it would be better for him to train under more pressure.

Turned out he had a bit of a mare on 1st leg so without pushing very hard I climbed quite a few places (and possibly ran the fastest time on the leg? and closed a little to the leaders). I decided if we was close to a prize I would go back out and see what I could do. I was told while he was running leg 3 I had got us to within 20secs of 3rd.
Georg ran well on leg 3 and came back in 4th very close to 3rd (Haninge) and I knew the lad just ahead and felt pretty confident I would beat him but the first two teams was well a head.
Felt really weak in the beginning of 4th leg but got into 3rd by no1 and dropped Haninge. Looked over my shoulder on a long climb and saw no one so decided to chill out and save my energy in case I did get caught up then I could fight for my position. Turned out I ran fast enough to cruise around and not see anyone!

Im really please with how this went and really pleased to get on the podium with Georg as a Södertörn team!

Testing the knee.
Thought stairs would be best because you can lift the HR without much impact and easy to control going down.
Then ran up some less steep hills. Uphill feels ok, grass was nicer than tarmac, down could feel the swelling bounce but ok.
Made me feel really positive to know I can jog
