A couple of smaller problems making decisions, making snap decisions rather than calculating what is best.

OKS Club Training

Nice to do something a little different, but I was hoping for something more technical because I was feeling a bit tired and the goal of the session was to run with people without letting the heart rate get too high.
I was doing ok but heart rate rocketed and any incline even though I was trying to relax.

Technically I was pretty good, but it was pretty easy a part from being in Hökarängen.

ran the middle course because Ive not been feeling right good this week, sore throat and low energy
not great, jumped of a crag and a branch went though my shoe into the sole of my foot then broke my compass, then made mistakes!

Some really bad bits that need looking into and work out why!
but after no5 I was pretty good and this also need looking at and working out why!!

But great forest and really fun!!

Note

Feeling tired and weak.
Slept a lot yesterday and over night but still feel tired. thought id over done it last week with more sessions than normal (o-ints, mila, vinterserien and long session (+ reflex course)) and not focusing in recovering but realised im still tired walking to the shops, this isnt normal so probably fighting off some illness or something else.
Got more test on sunday, fingers crossed i get to the root of that problem and can start training well soon. Feeling a frustrated.

Vinterserien Kungens Kurva (same terrain as 25manna 2016)

Im disappointed with this performance
Went ok in the beginning but blow 90s on no6, then struggled with negative thoughts though the rest of the course, every small mistake felt huge and i was thinking "For fuck sake an other mistake" almost every control.

I also felt pretty tired and struggling physically that probably played part on my negativity

there was times that I felt I was flowing pretty well and I felt confident and smooth on the rocky ground.

But the concentration wasnt there and some routine problems (mainly not looking up enough)!

Mila by night @ ängsjö

The best mila I have been too! Good forest and proper relay gaffling rather than butterflies.

Started straight into a detailed area where I got my controls well and came out with a good group (the lead or just behind?).
on the long leg to 8 I wasnt concentrating enough and wasnt ahead of myself in the last 3rd of the leg. I ran very close to the control but didnt see it thinking we still had to go further but everyone in the group punched it except me then i saw them running away, i thought "they are running fast to say we should be entering the control. oh dear!" haha +45s.
From there i was pretty much alone.
I did pretty well a part from I think I set my compass badly out of no17 and a bad route to no20.

When I was leaving no 18 there was a light running towards me and i thought "i bet thats Dimi". I last saw him on the way to no8 when he came up behind me and said "Xyn" (dick in russian) and now he is shouting "Fuck, fuck, fuck" hahah. I thought I had enough of a gap to stay out of sight and finish without seeing him again but he is running fast and reeled me in to beat me in the sprint finish but he didnt punch the finish so on the results i beat him by 1s!?

I felt ok but slow and tough up hill. I dont in good shape and that everyone else feels fast! hopfully get this sorted soon

They made me feel very slow (first time over 80kg for a few years haha) but just about held my own because there wasnt really any orienteering problems. Fun training with the others around! Time to knuckle down and get ready for spring!!
