Run -- Trail 1:32:00 [2]
Ryan the lions last run with the boys!
At toms funeral is mum told us all they planed to split toms ashes and scatter them in as many nice places as possible.
Hearing this reminded me of a run I did one morning where I ran out and randomly followed a path with orange dots painted on trees for markers. This small path went across from svartvik to ågesta (turns out that path goes all the way out to the coast). What stopped my that day was a beautiful hidden lake, nobody there just me and quite a lot of wild life, it felt like I was the first person to ever find that lake. During that run last summer I was thinking of Tom and how he was doing and hoping he was well, so to me this seem a great place to scatter his ashes. Thanks to his mum for a great opportunity to do this
So I tried to plan some sort of a run that I thought Tom would like, good weather, boys, stupid chat and lots of laughs. I invited some boys who knew him and I thought could join this summer. It was great to be joined by Ralph, little Erik and Treb who came from England especially.
We ran from our flat, it was good weather and we got chatting shit straight off the bat.
It took 50mins out to kvarnsjö.
We all took a small bit of the ashes and scattered them, next we hear little Erik "Arrr, oh fuck, I got Tom in my eye!" Haha
I brought a couple of beers with me so had them with wine gums, then cracked on with the run. We actually took a new path back home, it was really nice and added another cool element to the run
It was a good day followed by some drinking and toasts to Tom. Louise had organized a flat warming as an excuse to carry the good (but sad at the same time) feelings on into the night.
Thanks to everyone who was apart of this it ment a lot to me.
