Updated map arrived! Spend today on general admin eg trying to juggle numbers and timing so 1 personal can put out all the controls . Also looking to reduce overuse of certain areas. Gave feedback on Zigs 2 sessions-one of which will move to a different area

Urban Series #8 -Night O at Randpark Golf course
Had issues reading the map at night again. Just not able to pick up the detail on the run with my torch light and contact lens. This lead to numerous mistakes, and certainly didn't allow for flow. The one plus is I managed to practice relocation often, and got this right even at night. I was 'relatively' quickly able to get a feel when things had gone wrong. Night series has been fun, but im looking forward to day events again where I can better apply all of the necessary orienteering techniques

Zoe had a nice compass work session today for RACO, with a fairly big group. So I helped coaching the newcomers a bit

Just shows, need a good plan for anything. Implemented Jesses plan and had my splits (Febs and my PB's) on my control description holder. Very happy! Took 15 sec off my PB (set in April 2011), and over a minute off Febs time.
