You gotta take it when you can get it. Snow was perfect, temperature was perfect (high 20s F). And a dog named Vivien had never seen a cross-country skier before and totally enjoy running around me and along with me, but didn't want to me to pet her. Her dog-sitter had Vivien in Tower Grove Park and had let Vivien run around and play without her holding on to Vivien's leash. Of course, there was no danger to me nor Vivien nor the dog-sitter.
