Running race 35:24 [3] 10.0 km (3:32 / km)

Blodomlopet Borlange. Had been working down south, managed to get to Borlange 20 mins before start. Jogged out and made start fine. Told myself to take it easy at the start, but still probably started too fast. Dropped back a bit off the front groups after 1.5-2km, and positions began to settle about 3k. Got in behind a boy who was running real smooth and this settled me. He ran well to 5/6km, then he waved someone else through so I took over. Ran strong and steady after this. Some guys were faster in the final km, but I held it together for a good sprint finish. After the finish I spoke to the smooth running guy I settled in with. Turned out to be former swiss junior orienteer Christian Ott, pretty cool to run with him. Happy with the time, goes with the times I have been running on the track.

Running 1:00:00 [3]

Up to the track.

8 x (200m (in 2mins) 400m (in 2 mins))

200s went roughly 40, 39, 38, 37, 37,37, 37, 35
400s went roughly 80, 79, 77, 76, 75, 75, 75, 72

Pretty consistent. Running felt good on the last 2 using my legs more and upper body less. Happy with the times of the last set. Track really draws out the speed.
Hot weather today.
