Long, some dodgy controls/mapping plus walked a section, took a massive stack and broke watch

Another shocker of a day, changed down as Achilles were sore and didn't want to really stuff them. Got the first couple alright and passed Addison at 2, then the wheels fell off, hit the road half way through 3rd leg, I stopped to check the direction with my compass, to be sure, and it lined up with the main road, ok more left than I thought, look left could see the felled through the trees, ok, look behind, slight rise so couldn't see the intersection, ok run up road, running along looking at map and compass but feeling things weren't right as couldn't see an intersection coming up plus a bend in the road went the wrong way, stopped again to check map and compass, still lined up with main road, shook everything angerly and watched the needle move about and change to line up with side road = FUCKEN HELL, had to run back, and then catch back up to Addison who was waddling along ahead on the main road. Going into 3, read most things (first time for the weekend) and got to the hill the control was ment to be on, but couldn't see the control, didn't want to waste time in the green shit so went back out to the clearing/track, and along that to re-locate on the ridge, along the ridge to the hill top at end, and in, finding the control down in a very green re-entrant way off the hill, Addison right with me again me again also complaining about the control. Going to 4, thought I was in the right place, over the ridge, into a massive white re-entrant, umm, then to the edge of that where there were 2 massive open hills, ok so the control should be directly south-east, where there is nothing but a massive white re-entrant, no hills, run back to the ridge, ok I am in the right place, by now there are about 6 people all running around in circles in the re-entrant including Simon, do something similar and stumble on the control more directly south of the massive open hills. Pretty fucked off by now, and pass Simon again on way to 5 where neither of us did it very well, before the long leg where I just ticked off the massive slopes to know where I was. Leaving 7 I took a massive stack in the felled shit, cut up my hand, winded myself, broke my watch and my compass went flying, lay there for a minute to recover before walk/jogging the rest of the way to 8, 9 and 10 as achilles were starting to feel like snapping. During this time Allan Janes had started to follow me and stopped when ever I stopped and walked when ever I walked, which is fucken annoying. Picked up the pace a little bit to more of a run through the last loop, as it was slightly interesting. Not all that happy again in the finish and achilles really sore. And my fucken compass, its going in the bin, as lining it up with another it is 15-20 degrees off and sticks (no it is not a northern hemisphere)
