O in the Pines, Day 2 - Long Green. Biggest mess was at number 7. Interestingly enough, the splits don't flag this as a mistake, I guess my route to the circle was pretty fast to make up for it. When I got to the circle I came in just a bit to the right of the control and didn't see it. I saw another tree to my right and went that way and kept pulling right until I was down near the trail and then went back up. Slow again, though.

O in the Pines, Day 1 Green. Reasonably clean, but slow. Need to get used to the rocky eastern terrain. Not entirely happy with a course advertised as Middle that took me more than an hour. Winning time seemed to be at least 5 minutes too long. No huge errors, but definitely less than optimal route choice at number 7. At 9 I mistook the spur for the knoll and climbed too high, then had to go back down to the knoll. Some hesitation heading into the GO control because the trails and open area was more complex than expected and I had to stop and figure it out.

On the cruise ship doing laps around the promenade deck. I think this is the right distance, but I don't exactly remember. It's three laps/mile and I might have done one more lap. Bummed that my Garmin wasn't getting satellites because I would have loved to see the track!
