Intervals with Mike, not very strong.

Stubbed my toe on a rock and got a stick in the other foot at the same time. walked back to start and got stick pulled out with pliers, it sounds worse than it really was. :P

So missed the star relay and threw away these shoes, they are now RIP'ing in Lakenvlei.

Relocation exercise with Tim, really enjoyed this one.

Think it simulates race situations pretty well. too easy though because of big clearings and knowing the place too well.

Which is pretty poor pacing, some consistency with training and I'll be ok. Need to start doing track sessions religiously.

squandered a 28 second lead :(

angles were really bad, started off shaky, going right and up the gap in the green to number 1. Bad angle to 2, hesitant on 9. Quite far left and slow to 13. Quite far right to 15, Don't know what I was thinking there. Didn't push hard enough over the rest of the course.

Run was fine. got well thrashed by Mike.

Maximum loss would probs be like 10 seconds on 13. couldve run straighter on 11. otherwise fine, just fitness where I lost time.

Disappointing on the long legs... and 12,13,14 particularly slow.

Hyped mike up too much for this race :P

Was really good, not sure how good our route was but got the win anyway. Didn't suffer as much as I thought I would. So that's a win :D

Intervals around the neighbahood by the park.

about 7:40 for each of them and 3.15k.

and then a roll downhill back to the start, so about 2:20 rest.

Quads are tight!
