Orienteering race 20:05 [5] *** 3.6 km (5:35 / km) +90m 4:58 / km
spiked:12/14c shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

SA champs club relay

RACO was going for the fifth win in a row. After the long event I thought we had a good chance. Triathlon timmy had a great run to come in 3rd position for the first leg about a minute and a half behind nic cooper from ROC, Paul went out but had a not so good run, so i left about 3 minutes behind the leader and 40 seconds behind alex. Passed Alex when he made a big mistake in the rocky open area. Couldn't catch the leaders, so happy with silver, and on triathlon timmy's birthday

Orienteering race 1:04:04 [4] **** 8.2 km (7:49 / km) +270m 6:43 / km
spiked:18/26c shoes: Inov8 Oroc 280

Best map I have ever run on in South africa,

really nice map and course, started off well and after nine controls I had caught Dylan by 8 minutes and cobus by 12 min, I never saw them again until I had a school boy mistake of like 4 min, where they caught me up again, was really annoyed. Had to say good bye to the trophy after only one year :'( next year im going for three golds.

Ended up 3rd behind colin and alex, felt sorry for alex who finished only six seconds back, at least he won the log. Colin is M40 so second year a non M21 has won the M21E champs

SA champs middle,

Knew I had a good chance of the win for this one so pushed hard from the start, caught garry by 4 minutes at number 8 then was with him until i pulled a bit of a gap after 13. Won it by a minute and a half over Jeremy.

Really cool new map :)
