Was thinking of Brad and Jess coming late, so I was not focused at the start. Just ran to the control I had seen from the start - the novice control. Number was wrong, and position and feature. Realised what I had done and headed in the right direction. Passed the women's control then onto mine. Considered right around the dam, but didn't want to pass the spectators so went left. Couldn't pick up the paths, although everyone else had no problem. Was too far to the right and struggled to pick out the tree for #2 Dylan came from the right side of the dam, where he could see the control anr
#3-#6 were fine. I went between the dark green and the marsh. Obligatory wet shoes in stream from 7-8. #10 I was going OK then got onto a path. Ran straight up the path to the top before working out it was a parallel path. Rory bypassed me as he went straight to it. Rest of the controls were fine.

Inside Paulshof 5k. Raced against Friday's run, but I could not see the numbers if I was behind or ahead. So just used the pace.
