Soccer 15:00 [3]
shoes: cleats

I played goalie for most of the game, which was sort of funny since I never play goalie; one of our usual goalies wasn't there, and the other one hurt her leg last week. It was fun, but my punts were really ridiculous and just went all over the place :-).

Anyway, at the end I played sweeper for awhile. The other team didn't have enough players so we were playing 8 v 8 for most of the game...except that we had subs and they didn't, so they were getting really tired--and mean! The girl I was marking kept slamming into me from behind whenever I was dribbling...so I decided that it was okay that we won by a lot of goals :-) (6-0).

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3]

Vampire-O at Lynndale. I ran with Tori and Drew, and there was another Lakeside team with Catherine, Arianna, and William. It was really fun, and we had gotten all of the controls except for one when a vampire "bit" us and we had to turn over our control card. Then we "bit" someone who still needed a couple of controls; en route to one of them, we were "bitten" again by someone else and became the vampire. Luckily, the next person we "bit" had found all of the controls! (although he said one of them might be a mispunch but didn't know which one it was...). Anyway, we finished without running into any other vampires. Afterwards we (Lakeside + Hillary)went out to dinner, which was fun.

Run race 19:32 [5] 5.0 km (3:54 / km)

District XC meet at Lake Sammamish. It was a pretty good run. The course was mostly flat with a few small formline variations. It was really wet and muddy, so it was slippery even with spikes. My team placed first, so they're going to state next weekend...and I'm going to us champs instead, so they're kind of mad at me. Oh well.

Run 45:00 [3] 5.0 mi (9:00 / mi)
shoes: Brooks

We ran to Northacres, ran 2 laps through the woods, and then jogged back to school. Then we ran 5x 500 with rest in between and finished with a 1.25 mile cool-down. Time and distance are both estimates.

A run to the graveyard with the team.

Note

I was supposed to take a rest day today, which I sort-of did. I helped out some more at the junior training camp. There was a course open to coaches, so I walked it and then played some bottle soccer later.
