river walk Horseshoe then S on river walk trail. The horseshoe portion is nice but a bit Disney World-ish. Lots of restaurants with patio seating, christmas lights hanging from trees, tourist/taxi boats on the 'river'. South of the horseshoe the trail opens up, had a european feel to it, with condos/apartments, restaurants, and shops.

runners are friendly here. all but one said hello, generally before I did.

In San Antonio for meetings at Rackspace. They're paying for the hotel, flights, food, and transportation. Staying at a very nice place.... Mokara Hotel & Spa.

San Antonio River Walk Trail.

The river walk is right outside the door of the hotel. Cross the canal and start running.... Went north today. Nice change of scenery.

Satellites didn't lock until about a half mile in. The trail is generally below street level and there are a lot of tall buildings.

Came back from the run and my hotel key wouldn't open my room door. Let me in the hotel, activated the elevator, but no go on the door. Went to lobby and got a new key, same deal. Ran into a hotel employee. He tried the key. Opened on the first try.... Why does that happen?
