Not parkrun. Wanted to slightly beat previous time and rather overdid it, taking over 4min off. Had following breeze on way out, didnt feel that fast, but maybe the wind died away, just got better. Effort poss 3.75 (maybe 4 on the way back). Splits 6:19, 6:08, 6:08, 6:06, 5:31. Nice to get such a good 4th km time. Cadence 165-170 av 168 with lower bit to start and higher bit at end. HR for once looks reasonable, rising progressively to a max of 150-odd with av 137. No dip when the cadence dropped at the turnround

Home block 2.5 or sl less. Dark and spitting but well rugged up. And at an easy pace not so much sweat chill. Splits 9:13, 7:04, 10:05, 8:55, 0:32 (.04km) V similar to run on 3 Jun, sl slower on the middle 2km.

Std downtown excursion, easy. Small load of groceries. Three scares in school traffic just after 3pm; passing car extremely close; car attempting to pass even closer and I stopped and walked rest of way to top; car door opened in front of me where parked cars leave only half a lane each side.

AW Rogaine Melrose. Distance guessed. Crisp clear night with 200+ ppl. Solo. Lot of walking with some jogging and pleased to have to extend route at the end. There was a 90-50 that looked as easy as the 60-40 that I had in mind to get home, and even a 250mout and back was a maybe, tho I was technically a minute or so over time. So wuite a satisfying endgame. Feeling good. Stopped for drink and a bite at halfway which I often overlook. Put teh course on MapRun too (under a PIN code) and got 5 fail-to-beep out of 25. Know that map or placement errors mainly to blame, ie preventable.

Seatoun. Shadowed Mia Brown. Map was simply awful. 2.5m contours and those tiny small tracks.
