shoes: Olway

NZ Champs long in Woodhill Forest (Long final area for World Masters). Fell to bits after half way culminating in losing heart on 2nd last. Surprised to be under an hour, hought I had wasted heaps more. Brighouse 1st 36min. Me 5th. Actual waste 15min. Running felt quite good though.

NZ Champs sprint 2nd M70 (by 1sec). Auck Uni. Couple of errors up to 20sec. Winner Browning, Brighouse 3sec behind.

Home block. Intention another easy run, concentrating on cadence. 1st 2km seemed to be quite fast so prob pushed a bit harder for the rest (as well as maintaining short steps). Intensity prob 3.75. Splits 7:52, 5:32, 7:50, 6:32. Av cadence 171 cf 162 yesterday

Battle Hill CSW/Club event Red 1. Dist/climb from G235. Nominally 6.1km 395km. Bit long for common sense. No real probs. Results will show DNF but couple of cntrls taken in before I got there.
