Easy run testing HRM. 2km using garmin only, stretch 4min, 2km with chest strap, all at abt 8mpk. Little discernible difference to HR. Observed spike at the start for the first time, found some plausible physiological reasons for it.

QE Park, accompanying Bill Trompetter. Distance is beeline. "Red"course was orange, but a nice run with lots of talk. GPS says 9.7km. But it also says I got down to -11m elevation. We did take the beach route on a couple of legs, should I become a climate change sceptic?
