Surgeon visit. OK, so the most immediate issue among many for the Right knee is that there is a bone growth on the bone behind the femur, so the patella is sitting directly on bone - no cartilage left. Had a similar bone growth cut out of my ankle a couple of years back which went well, so surgery: August 2nd, waitlisted for earlier. No guarantees of great success, the alternative was to manage with physical rehab and stop running hills. While it has got a bit better over the last month I still can't bend my leg near fully without this painful click as the patella grinds over this bump, so decision made.
