Up to UTS and back. L knee not as bad - iced twice.

At Physio. Crippled, walking with a limp all day - sharp pain at top of L patella. Just as well I'm not doing a rogaine.

At Physio. Should have pre-booked a session before the holidays, but it kind of worked out as I had to get my broken tooth fixed yesterday.
The Left knee was terrible yesterday and on the flight home - acute pain on straightening with an attendant click. Some relief if I pressed on the outside upper part of the knee. The physio thinks it is the patella sliding back into position - so three issues: patella sitting outside (left) of its groove; tight ITBs pulling on it and sub-optimal cartilage. Treatment is the usual - stretching and VMO strength. Having said that, I take comfort from winning Day 5, running well on 2 nurofen, so I should be able to get back to form at least for 1 or 2 day events.
