Big Foot Akuna Ride, but in reverse and solo. The North Sydney train was a couple of minutes early, so I was the only one on it through St Ives. Then I got caught along with two others at traffic lights as the bunch mostly rolled through amber. Continued on solo and took notice of the Akuna Bay "road closed" signs, so went anti-clockwise down the new hotmix McCarrs Ck Rd. Then decided I'd see if it was really closed, it wasn't, so completed the loop. Met Cam, Dave, Gunter et al back in St Ives - they did clockwise and quicker. Shadowed by a black crow for a kilometre on Gen San Martin drive - I wasn't the only bike rider so not sure what the interest was.
