MTB Orienteering race (BOSS) 1:21:00 [4] 17.51 km (4:37 / km) +316m 4:15 / km
(injured)

Wallaroo. I hate this place. Fell off again (not as bad as last time luckily), this time on a sandy ridge in the middle of the track. Was going slowly uphill, but fell backwards down the hill and corked my right thigh, plus a bruised arm. Took a while to get going (-1:30), limping after (and today). Had already blown it anyway (-7:00) by overshooting a tricky 3 pointer placed on a fairly optimistic "track". Thoroughly thrashed by Cath and Mary Fien.

Point Stephens. Across the sand bar to the island and lighthouse. Knees still not right, but this was a lot better than Wednesday. New AP record for a pair of shoes (317km). Might need to get a new pair?

Blackman Park-Home. Wasn't feeling the best and that was borne out by the run. Both knees just not elastic. Looked up "Sudden onset arthritis" on Google as a joke, but found out there is actually such a thing and it involves pain, so not what I've got. This would be one of the slowest runs I've ever logged. Breathing fine (the cold threatened to come back but didn't), ribs fine (no voltaren since last week), power fine, just no drive.
Bashed through the bush to get into our back garden - 8 minutes, so slower than going around the road (6:45).
