Took it easy out to Epping. Ribs all right on the bike. Breathing OK, the Amoxil is doing its job, unlike in October.

Bad run. In constant pain from right ribs. Thought it might ease off, but it didn't. Short cut back through UTS.

Gore Hill Freeway, Artarmon. Everything good, at least during the event. I know this area really well, as work is on the map and I've run from work many times in various directions. Still don't know how they managed to hide a 2m cliff at #12 though. A light drizzle, but warm - good running conditions. Ran well, breathing OK.
However, should have gone through the gate to get to #6 and the finish - its a gate I've used many times on the run home so I knew exactly where it was and how to open it fast. Instead I ended up on the wrong side of the wet fence and slipped on it at my first attempt - my chest landed heavily on my hand onto the top rung, both are sore today.
Plus, the cold got severely worse pm and I nearly drowned last night in pus. On to antibiotics today (Thursday).
