Running 42:00 [3] 7.0 km (6:00 / km) +50m 5:48 / km
shoes: ASICS Gel Evolution 4

Lane Cove NP. Got a bit lost around the Caravan Park, some tracks are gone from the 2000 map. First time I've worn a hat for an entire run.

Lane Cove NP. From home down to the entrance and up the riverside path, and return. Humid.

Burnt Bridge Creek, Seaforth. Another sub-optimal run. Lots of stuffing around in the circle cost a fair bit. Then I wrote 7's code in 27's box and when I got to 27 two controls later it took me an awful long time to work out where the rogue code belonged. Finally made a really bad decision near the end - ran 600m to get a 30 point control when I could have run 1000m to pick up 70 points. The extra 400m means I would probably have finished a minute, or two at the most, late, but it would have been worth it.

MTB 15:00 [2] 4.0 km (3:45 / km)

Utter debacle of trying to tow the Chariot, as my freewheel kept cutting in leaving me with no power. Abandoned our attempt to get to the festivities at West Pymble. At least January isn't a bike-free month any more.

Teering race (Sprint Series) 18:34 [5] * 3.5 km (5:18 / km) +46m 4:59 / km
spiked:16/17c weight:75.7kg shoes: ASICS DS Racer

Callan Park, Lilyfield. Straight Line 2.8km. Good course, ran better than I thought I was going to, but had a navigation brain fade at no. 3. Failed to turn right off the fence corner and wasted 50 seconds. That dropped me from 3rd to 8th - did have the third fastest split on the second half of the course.
