Fingal Bay. Tough one - running in 30 degrees at 1.30pm (Aoife sleep time). Cath had a few stops, but strong on hills. Got to Big Rocky again, the long way around.

Fingal Bay. Unsuccessful attempt to find a way around the point with Cath. Tracks very overgrown. At one point blocked by a colony of 5cm bight red jumping ants.

Cremorne, Folly Point. This is getting a bit silly, good name for the map though. My second control was on "northern 4m boulder west side" in a creek. Well, after 5 or 6 minutes boulder hopping and rock climbing among the hundreds of big boulders in the creek I gave up, only to see the "pot" as I was leaving. If ever the "boulder field" symbol was needed this was it.
The next ridiculous symbol was next to no. 21. This was an 800m detour uphill, but it was a 30 pointer, so I thought it was worth it. Running up the road to the park I lost my sense of up/down, whats going on? Getting closer there is a 10m high sheer sandstone cliff in the middle of the road. And of course no. 21 is on top of it. A brief look to see if there is any way up - no. All I could do was write "Ha! Ha! Tricked me" on the punch card and move on. It needed the "impassable cliff" symbol.
Later on no. 28 had been stolen, but situation resolved when someone else saw the remnant tape with the code on it. So overall about 10 minutes wasted in stuff ups/trickery.
