Sprint Champs. Yet another comeback from injury/sickness in a race. Nothing like it. Just mopping up the last remnants of the cold so no problem running. Had physio tape R knee, so again no problem there - its 95% fixed anyway. Good race, ran well if a little slowly; that probably helped. One major mistake, wrong direction out of 8 (-25), one bad route choice 10-11 (-25) and one failure to spike the flag in the circle at no. 15 (-15). So no mistakes wouldn't have made much difference as I was 56 secs behind Sten in 5th. Splits are good to see - Evo and HeyU got the wrong route choice 1-2 which cost them the race, Sten was in front until 3, held it together till 8 and then faded badly to finish behind a very consistent Steve Fletcher, Rob was fastest but handed Craig the lead with slower times at 11, 12 and then recovered to win. I was happy enough to be 2.30 down and ahead of most of the other fringe contenders.
