Chase Group. Very quick early and a car nearly took 3 Attackpointers out in one go. We were descending a hill at 45-50kmh, car comes to a stop sign on the right, appears to stop, doesn't, keeps going and then stops. I sort of screamed at him as we went past, but my heart rate didn't recover and I was dropped shortly after. Had he continued the first guy (Adventure Andrew) might have got through, but the second guy would have been collected full on, I would have gone through the passenger window, Pete would have gone through the back door window and Tooms would have bounced off the tail light.

Surprisingly got back on the group later with 2 Speeds who had been dropped earlier - we went straight down West Coast Highway, which isn't that much shorter. Good pace to N Freo; in difficulty at McCabe St but survived and finally dropped off on Roses hill. Kept going well enough after that.

Good UWA sprint today (Evo won I think) but I was baulked by Oscar who sat up and drifted left.

Roundly stuffed after the ride; What a way to start the day.
