Pacific to Berowra. Heavy traffic on the way up, and strong winds. Didn't see any bikes until the Bobbin Head turn off - too cold? Had beginnings of frostbite in the left pinky toe when I got back.

Bobbin Head. Pretty cold. Had a tow up the climb behind 2 South Africans, so 12:17 for the climb - pretty quick, and a PB (3.9km).

Newcastle Uni, M55. Second run in 9 weeks. Knees still dodgy, right one actually felt worse. But only beforehand, didn't notice them during the race. And the ankle only jarred afterwards in the car park.

Found the controls well, read the map well except for no. 1, but missed several better route choices - 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 12. Two mistakes, lost 40 seconds at 1 - went around 1 building too many. Then didn't take the right path at 11 (10 seconds).
