Running 40:00 [3] 7.0 km (5:43 / km)

Ran DGLs first urban X-League for the season.
Very happy not to have to excessively dodge people, but will definitely avoid setting courses that run/skirt large supermarket parking lots for future runs. Never felt uncomfortable, so was happy about that.
Body reject the fact I've gone from 0% road running to 80% in a week. Felt a familiar calf/achilles strain after 30 mins. Walk of shame back to the finish and very sore/hobbling for the rest of the day. :(

CF 30:00 [3]

6 rounds of trail loop + 10 burpees at the jungle gym. Much better intensity now the trail has dried out + stairs.

Attempted some pull ups, but my lats were fried from the day before.

CrossFIT HQ just announced an online competition starting this Friday to "support your local box". Here is a link with more info

My understanding is this can be done by anyone, at home, with no additional equipment required and it's free! There is a donation option which goes to the gym, but they've indicated they don't expect people to select that - they just want pure numbers.

Finally, for any non-member who lists their affiliate as 'Alchemy Crossfit, they will provide a 3 week trial of their at home programming delivered to your inbox each night.

Trying to get some structure back

Toes to bar, 6 every minute then max set on 10. 9x6+13. Then todays Alchemy@Home workout, 'Red Baron'. Broke one of the jungle gym dumbbells. :(

Running 35:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:50 / km)

Running the 6k loop I planned for Alchemy's slow down Sunday, testing the MapRunF app and also with a few stops for potential RtC checkpoints.
Not super interesting, but it's what I'm going to have to deal with for at least a month.
Got back at marveled how empty the parking lot at Bayfront Park was, then realised why as I drove out. The entrance had been barricaded. No more parks.

I had such a great time at the jungle gym yesterday I've decided it's time to log again! It was exhilarating.
Dirty Helen with Trav. He got me by ~40 seconds. He's too good now. I have to plan harder workouts.
