Pre-brekie run from home. Did two laps of my now official 5 mile loop from my parents. Really crisp out with a deep blue sky. Perfect (apart from the lack of hills).
Run from Clumber on the way to my parents. Didn't know what to do so Clare suggested a session - 5,4,3,2,1,2,3,4,5 pyramid. Whilst the reps were not flat out they got me out of my general steady running torpor. Gorgeous around Clumber - cold, clear and icy. Couldn't believe the idiots who were running around on the lake.

Long but social run with OJ up through Beeley to Wharncliffe and home down the ramp. Got a good dusting of snow to top off the Christmas running experience. Tired from about 1:30 onwards but really enjoyed it.
Steady run with Paul F around Ladybower. Simply breathtaking (see Paul for better superlatives). The road and trails were not too icy so most of the running was at a steady pace. Loved every minute of it and felt ok too. I tested the stomach with steak and ale pie and chips with success. Shame Dave A couldn't have joined us.
Got a stomach bug / food poisoning. Which meant I was up half of Monday night voiding all toxins and / or water / food from my body. Not nice. Felt ok during the day - just a bit spacey.
The coldest run of my life? Run with Andy T up to Damflask to up to "the sign" and then turned round again. Could not quite get my head around how cold it was and was pleased to have chosen a buff to wear round my neck. We were rewarded for our heroic efforts with an amazing dawn / sunrise on the way back.

Long day at the office tidying off bits and bobs before my christmas break. Stomach felt a bit funny for the last mile or so.
