Fairly good run technically. Only had a 1 or 2 min error on control 8. However, ran very slowly, and lost a lot of time on the last downhill leg and the run to the finish. I was ahead of Joe before then, and he beat me by 21 seconds. It really pays to train. Also, I had just finished getting over my viral URI, and still wasn't up to par, still coughing.

5.38 k actual distance ran.

Feel pretty crummy today. Headache, general malaise, a little cough, some sputum, stuffy nose and sneezing. Hope it's not a serious cold.

Felt really tired in the legs. Was initially planning on doing a reverse run of Friday, but a few steps out the door I knew that was not going to happen. Missed the logging road and ran to Deerfield Rd, turned around and came back.

Trail run in Tilden. Tilden has very rocky trails, and I have fallen more than once tripping on a rock. Today I was thinking I better be careful, and just then came to a downhill with a lot of rocks. Sure enough I tripped and did a face plant, skinning up both arms and hands. Nothing really serious, but a couple walking the other way saw me and asked if I was OK. Looked pretty grim with blood and dirt all over my arms.

Otherwise it was a beautiful day, and I felt pretty good considering I ran for over an hour.

2nd spin class in 6 weeks and really felt it. Could not do the 2x lifts, and really took a long time to recover after each song.

The gym put in all new machines, so it took me a while to find similar machines I had used before and figure out how to use them and what weights to use. A little frustrating since I really didn't have any way to guage my loss of strenght from the 5 weeks in France. I'm sure it will sort itself out though.

First time I did the stationary bike in 6 weeks at home. Really was out of shape and had to stand after 30 seconds of the 3rd hill and all of the 4th hill.

Really tired, jet lagged, and sore from yesterday's run.

Lowered 5 lbs on all machines, but still had trouble after not working out in the gym for 6 weeks. Really tired, and was totally exhausted at the end.

Tilden loop trail. NIce day. Felt pretty good considering it took me 24 hours to get from Nice to home. Bags never made it on the plane from Paris. Fortunately we were coming home instead of just starting our vacation.
