Fell run race 1:16:55 [4] 13.6 km (5:39 / km) +860m 4:18 / km

Clwydian Hills Fell Race. Set off just to get round but found myself in the front pack and the competitiveness kicked in. One chap started to pull away and got a gap on the flat running. Though this closed up on the steep downs and ups. Realised I needed to get a gap on him before the 2 mile run in. Pushed on the last climb and got a 15 second gap although I couldn't see the checkpoint on the top of Moel Famau (in the crowds of walkers) so lost a few seconds. Set off with intent but had to keep looking at the map as it wasn't obvious. Hit the road and had nothing left and he crusied by. Oh well a good training session and starting to feel abit fitter. Chest tight but no worse. A good and runnable race.

Dark peak night race from Fairholmes. Pretty good nav and running though couldnt get the air in with a sore chest.

Warm up then longer warm down ont road.

Steady Riv with Z with headtorches. Got lost...great amusement.

Easy run with z. Chest sore think i've bruised/cracked a rib. Sore to take a deep breath.
