With Tom and Steve. Parked near Thornhill and then ran out along the railway line to Yorkshire Bridge before a full clockwise loop of the reservoirs. I wasn't particularly happy about going clockwise, as everyone knows you always go anti-clockwise. HR high right from the off, average for the run was in zone 4 and was actually my usual threshold pace. It was hard work, first faster long run for a long time. Steve and Tom dropped in a sub-6 mile after 17.5 miles and disappointingly I couldn't hold on. On a positive note I seemed to hold up pretty well.
