Trying something different today, which I'm planning to do during the next marathon training block. The idea is to do a longer run before the parkrun so you have to run hard on already tired legs. From home, along Abbeydale Road to Totley and back.

As expected, that felt pretty tough. A bit stiff at the start as I'd not judged my arrival quite right and had stood around for a little while. Ran with Jonny Crickmore who kept me pushing along. I was working hard while he seemed to be cruising.
