Well it's time for my 11-yearly trip to Estonia. First time was 1995 for the World Schools Champs, then again in 2006 for the Eurpoeans, and now 2017 for WOC. Different team each time. Not quite next stop Tartu though - Sydney, Singapore, Helsinki and Tallinn first. Going to be a long day (literally).

Saturday series at Farrer. Succeded in my aim not to twist an ankle. Ran fast and lost no time at all, which I guess is what you want 1 week from WOC. If I can run these mpks next week I'd be pleased. Shep and Jo planned and I have to say I've not done a better course here before. Was fun :)

WFH today so did a LRFH. Not a lot of point other than general loosening and feeling like I've done something. Flattish around the edge of Taylor. Really tried to jog at 5mpks but just couldn't.

5x3mins on Red Hill. Probably a bit over excited in the first couple from work meeting adrenaline so was very heavy for the last three.

HFW steady, feeling pretty good. Got a bit dark on me being the shortest night of the year - a bit of a contrast to what it'll be like in Estonia.

5x3mins on Red Hill trails. Felt quite good, a few hills. Basically treading water now - trying to not get tireder but also trying to not get rustier.
