Long run from near Shep's house. Had a 2hr time limit before needing to get home but thought I'd make things interesting by running away from home through Stromlo and Bluett's West down to the Molonglo. To save time and do some exploration I thought I'd then stick to the south side of the river down to Coombs. What I didn't know was that the river does a massive S and I found myself looking down on a massive meander. Time running out so had to run as hard as I could for the next hour. Fortunately picked the end of a new bushwalking track, which was quite nice and eventually hit familiar territory in Coombs. Quite a slog back round Oakey and Taylor. Good to do a moderately hard longun though.
O-training on Taylor - re-ran some contouring/slope-o courses set by Theo and Emil before Easter. Did much better this time. As always, a bit bushy and rocky but a good challenge. Learnt that it's hard to judge height when dropping/climbing steeply down/up several contours.
Lunch run up Davo with Tomas at lunch. Actually felt quite warm today and I felt pretty good while Tomas was a bit stiff having smashed the Canberra fun run on Sunday - so I enjoyed this run ;)
