Orienteering race 31:50 [5] 6.8 km (4:41 / km)

'Teams' race at Kowen pines - a mass start middle distance. Simple orienteering but still managed to make small misses in the circle a few times where the flag was tucked in under a bank. A reminder to still be precise. Felt like I was running ok though.

Running 20:00 [3] 4.0 km (5:00 / km)

Running 1:14:00 [3] 15.0 km (4:56 / km)

Grace dropped me in Tuggers and I ran home via Urambi Hills, McQuoids Hill and Mt Arawang. Dug in on the hills but pretty tired (and thirsty) by the end. It was actually warm today - much warmer than at any point while I was in Scotland.

Running 48:00 [3] 10.5 km (4:34 / km)

IW via Mugga. Chilly but not frosty. Felt alright.

Running 55:00 [3] 12.2 km (4:30 / km)

HFW with an extra bit along Red Hill ridge. Had a bash at the steps to the cafe climb but legs really seized up big time. After that did a kind of fartlek/tempo most of the way home.

Running intervals 16:30 [5] 5.0 km (3:18 / km)

5x1km around the East Basin at lunchtime. A bit of a rude awakening as it's been yonks since I did a similar such session. Wasn't too hard on myself but didn't let up either. Pace was about 3.15-3.20.

Running 19:00 [2] 3.5 km (5:26 / km)

Bit of a warm-up and warm-down, and 1.10 recoveries.

Running 37:00 [3] 7.7 km (4:48 / km)

Night lap of Taylor trying out my new ayups, which seemed pretty good. Felt pretty good though legs could feel all of the climbing of the weekend still.
