Long run from home with Shep. Farrer, Wanniassa, Farrer, Taylor (up the steep path I found yesterday). Nice sunny day and good to have company for a long run like this - planning our oldies' assault on the World Cups. Also tried out my new pack, which felt good.
3x Mt Taylor, twice up the steep path on the E side, then down to the car park, along the powerlines, and up a new steep rocky path from the SW side. Liked this path. Felt quite good.
Map familiarisation on Farrer Ridge - tried to read everything and keep it smooth, so back to basics really. Pretty simple but good concentration training. Also good to practice running off trails I suppose. Hopefully will do some sort of o training each week now.
