Running 1:54:00 [3] 22.2 km (5:08 / km)

4 trigs run from home - Taylor, Arawang, Cooleman, McQuoids (new one for me and, it turned out, no trig). Very sunny and I should've taken water but I hadn't worked out how my new saloman pack worked in time so sodded it off. Anyway, very enjoyable run for 80mins or so. Quite a struggle after that, but good to get back into some longer endurance training again.

Running 52:30 [4] 12.7 km (4:08 / km)

Tempo on fire trails up Oakey Hill and round the back of Taylor. Felt easy for 30mins or so then got pretty tough.

Running 13:30 [3] 2.8 km (4:49 / km)

6min jog to edge of Taylor, and 7min jog back through Torrens after.

Running tempo 18:00 [4] 5.0 km (3:36 / km)

An 8min section and a 10min tempo-ish section of a lunchtime run around the East Basin. Felt a bit heavy-legged.

Running 17:00 [3] 4.0 km (4:15 / km)

Running 45:00 [3] 10.0 km (4:30 / km)

IW marginally faster than normal but without trying any harder, which is nice. Lovely sunny morning again.

Really pleased to have been picked for World Cups in Tasmania: I'm really looking forward to having one more (final?) crack at some decent results on the world stage. I should be able to get some decent training in between now and then, but I'll need to make good use of my commuting and lunch times in order to do so.

Running 46:00 [3] 11.0 km (4:11 / km)

In Wollongong overnight with work so headed out for a run along the beach, which was gorgeous especially on a glorious sunny day like today. Turned round at 22.5mins at which point I discovered why I'd been feeling so good up until then - massive wind behind me. Needless to say, the return was a struggle.
