3 PM

Running 1:01:00 [3] 13.0 km (4:42 / km)

Nice run from home up Farrer and Isaacs Ridges. Hilly but just about managed to keep running the whole way.

2 PM

Running 1:02:00 [3] 12.0 km (5:10 / km)

Around Taylor and Farrer. Gorgeous, dare I say hot, afternoon. Ankle ahead of hamstring again in the soreness stakes but only by virtue of lots of hamstring stretching.

Running 49:00 [2] 9.0 km (5:27 / km)
(injured)

A hobble around Isaacs and Farrer - R hamstring/butt probably sorer than ankle now. Good job I didn't have any last minute thoughts about running at Kooyoora.

(rest day)

Second day at Ulladulla - did a nice walk in the Lake Conjola area.

Note
(rest day)

Took Florence on her first holiday - a couple of days at the coast at Ulladulla. She slept so much I don't think she even acknowledged the existence of the ocean, despite coming on a couple of walks along the beach with me in the carrier. Fortunately she also slept while Gracie and I had dinner at Yesiam, so I was able to enjoy my usual beef mussaman in peace.

Running 24:00 [2] 4.0 km (6:00 / km)
(injured)

Again very sore, but pottered up Mount Taylor on a new very steep path (which I'll use for Bright training I think) and home again.

Monday Aug 25, 2014 #

Running 5:00 [3] 1.0 km (5:00 / km)
(injured)

Started up Mt Taylor from home, but ankle quite sore and twinged my hammy on the same leg (noticed this towards the end of yesterday's race - probably a compensation thing), so called it a day. Must've been the adrenaline that got me round yesterday. It started raining just after I got home again, so not such a bad thing.
