Nice run from Hall to One Tree Hill on the centenary trail, with a bit of an extension to meet the point I'd got to coming from the other direction in Forde a few months ago. Quite warm and sunny, but nowhere near as horrendous as the last few days. Then had a BLT, lemonade and coffee from the cafe in Hall.
Very early run for a weekend but, again, good to avoid the heat of later in the day. Gracie and I parked up at Redders and I ran home via Mugga and the Brae.
Made it out early again today though - well worth it, as I got a lovely 15degrees instead of the 41 forecast for later. Usual Davo loop for the 3rd time this week - also the fastest (although all were running comfortably so doesn't mean much). Sky seemed especially clear today - very good for seeing a long way from the summit.
Had to go to Bunnings this morning, so forced to run in the heat again - fortunately temperatures plummeted from 40 to 37.5 before I started :s Wasn't actually that bad though - went round the East Basin, which is fairly exposed to the sun, but also exposed to the wind and is very flat. Didn't even notice that I ran past my planned water fountain stop as I chatted to Shep who happened to be passing me on his bike at the time.
