Ben and Mace organised some Cockies training at Honeysuckle. So good to be orienteering in proper technical terrain again - first since Tassie in September. Great area - real tricky and fairly low-vis in bits. The rocky first half was quite nice though and I was pretty clean. Then the vaguer, rougher northern section was quite hard - a few time losses here and certainly lost some momentum. Didn't feel good running but pleased with my technique.

Ran the special event put on for the OA conference. The only real thing to be said for it was that it was interesting that I ran exactly the same time as I did in the event on Wednesday. Good to run somewhere different though.

Zig-zagged round Griffith and 'bundah a bit. Not easy when it's 30degrees, humid and you've had a couple of Belgian beers at lunch time. Felt unsurprisingly pants.

Thought I'd do this one since it was SI, and on my local area. A tougher course than most twilights, keeping us in the bush and with some interesting route choices. I felt alright running but with no zip in my legs. Had a clean run, but dubious route choices on a couple.

Ran there from work, short warm-up with Shep, warm-down with Shep and Devil, then run home.

6x1km at the XC track. 3.14-3.18. Not great. Feeling pretty tired. Then another long day at work.

2.5km as warm-up and warm-down, plus a jog to the dunnies between the 4th and 5th reps (last week it was between the 3rd and 4th, so my system must've taken a bit longer to wake up this week. Interestingly).
