Running race (Ashton Court Parkrun) 16:55 [5] 5.0 km (3:23 / km) +100m 3:05 / km
shoes: New Balance 769

Aim was to get sub-17 in this 5km - it is entirely uphill (100m climb!) to the turnaround so I was aiming for out in 9.30, back in 7.30. Felt alright setting off and was on my own once it started climbing. Judged the pace about right so didn't fade too much on the climb and had enough left to go for it on the down. Ended up going out in 9.17, back in 7.38. Turns out I'm the founding member of the Ashton Court Parkrun sub-17 club :o)

Running warm up/down 30:00 [2] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: New Balance 769

Running 42:00 [3] 10.0 km (4:12 / km)
shoes: Asics Nimbus

First day of unemployment wasn't all that great - Grace has gone off to Czech world cups and I have a mountain of study to do :o( Went out to the Hallen badlands and saw a cute swan family (4 big fluffy youngsters) to cheer me up.

Blaise in so much rain I had to wear a windproof. A few aches and pains going on, probably a hangover from the half marathon.
