Running long 2:12:00 [3] 26.0 km (5:05 / km)
shoes: Asics Nimbus

Long run, bright and early, from home to Mark's house in Bath (for Alex's stag do). Got caught in a couple of very heavy downpours. Felt pretty good but taking it reasonably steady.

IW via Blaise & Downs. Very very tempting to run along angry woman's footpath but I didn't want to undo all of Dr Bone's hard work.

Orienteering race (BOK Urban Race 3) 32:00 [5] 9.0 km (3:33 / km)
shoes: Asics Nimbus

Uni Halls and Sneyd Park. Another good urban race on another new map by Mike Forrest. The uni halls bit was pretty cool, but the streets bit was a bit of a slog. Probably didn't pace it very well as I was dying a bit on the hills near the end. Kept pushing though, so a good session.

Some silly fat angry woman with nothing better to do ruined it for a few people by putting her fat body firmly in the way of her supposed private footpath. I didn't let it ruin my race though - I feigned to the right, she went for the grab, then a shimmy to the left and I was through her gaping arms and away, hearing diminishing cries of "you little shit" as I disappeared into the distance. Mark Bown did the honourable thing and calmed her down later. Fun times.

Running 48:00 [2] 8.0 km (6:00 / km)
shoes: Asics Nimbus

18min warm-up jog with Grace to the race, then some control collecting, then a jog some of the way home.

Running intervals 30:00 [5] 9.0 km (3:20 / km)

6x 5mins on roads from LW, over new M5 bridge to Cabot Park and back in through Hallen. Did the session well and felt quite strong, although maybe lacking some zip.

Running warm up/down 29:00 [2] 5.0 km (5:48 / km)

Running 1:10:00 [3] 13.0 km (5:23 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 X-talon 212

Team Monday away day run from Burrington Coombe - usual route around and about and up to Beacon Batch. Cracking views, lovely run. With Mark, Tim and Keith. Hanne and Grace in hot pursuit. Felt fine which was pleasing - quite tired after a day out in the Malverns with Grace. Also had great views from up there.
